Did you know that you can substitute yogurt or applesauce for oil in most baking recipes? I do this all the time, and it usually works well! I say "healthier brownies? sort of..." because I used a box mix which is still loaded with sugar and artificial ingredients...but....I'll eat more carrots tomorrow;)

*Note: I have found it's best to use whole milk yogurt when substituting for oil. If you choose to use applesauce, I like to cut back on some of the sugar (in a "from scratch" recipe). I have also found that it's best to refrigerate the baked goods as the ones I've substituted in seem to mold faster. Ew.
